Today, Gucci Mane unveiled his fifteenth studio LP Ice Daddy, which contains 17 tracks with additional features from BIG30, Lil Baby, Lil Uzi Vert, 2 Chainz, Young Dolph, E-40, Project Pat, Peewee Longway, and more. Added to said drop is a new visual for “Posse on Bouldcrest,” a Marz and Mike WiLL Made-It-produced offering that features New 1017 frontrunner Pooh Shiesty and Seattle legend Sir Mix-a-Lot, who flips his own 80’s classic “Posse on Broadway.” Much like Mix-a-Lot’s original release, Gucci can be heard narrating his and his crew’s movement through his old stomping grounds:

“Me and my gang at home away from home, in a all-red Phantom, in the backseat on the phone, it’s callin’ up the posse, it’s time to get rippin’, and if they get to trippin’, then we shootin’ like the Pistons, everybody lookin’, if you jealous, turn around, these twenty-six inches got us so high off the ground, the Forgiato rims, they’re skinny as the tires, my system soundin’ good, but I need the volume higher…”

Shot by Joe Yung Spike, the accompanying clip for “Posse on Bouldercrest” keeps with the overall theme, as Gucci leads a conway of luxury vehicles through the streets, including his bright red Rolls Royces. Making stops at different locations, the crew eventually converge in what looks like a parking lot lined with flyers donning the New 1017 logo — a perfect place for Pooh Shiesty to show off his cash while performing his replay-worthy verse.

In related news, congrats are certainly in order for Shiesty, who has become one of this year’s XXL Freshman — standing alongside fellow peers 42 Dugg, Flo Milli, Morray, Lakeyah, Coi Leray, Toosii, Blxst, Rubi Rose, Iann Dior, and DDG. Fans will soon be able to see the Memphis rapper trading freestyles and engaging in cyphers with his fellow compadres.
