2 Chainz has been building the momentum for So Help Me God since his “VERZUZ” series with Rick Ross. First he used Swizz Beatz and Timbaland’s platform to premiere his new single “Money Maker,” which features assistance from Lil Wayne. Then, he dropped off an animated visual for the track, which paid homage to HBCU’s all over the country. Now, he continues to show love to those institutions with an official clip that comes courtesy of Bryan Barber and sees Tity and Weezy performing the track in the midst of bands, greek organizations, and graduating seniors. It’s hard not to smile at the colorful, celebratory clip.

Prior to “Money Maker,” Chainz dropped the equally dope cuts “No TV,” “Dead Man Walking” with Future, and the Skooly-assisted “Devil Just Tryna Be Seen.” Earlier this year, he released No Face No Case, which — in addition to the veteran star Skooly — properly introduced the world to his The Real University artists Sleepy Rose, Worl, and Hott LockedN. That project also saw collaborations with NLE Choppa, Quavo, NoCap, and Quando Rondo. His last solo LP, Rap Or Go To The League, made landfall last year.

As busy as 2 Chainz has been, Lil Wayne seems to eclipse that with the kind of work ethic that reminds fans of his iconic mixtape era last decade. In addition to working on No Ceilings 3 and the sixth installment of his Carter series, he’s also working with Cash Money boss Birdman and Chainz on the respective collaborative efforts Like Father, Like Son 2 and ColleGrove 2. The New Orleans legend has also lended verses to recent hits like Jack Harlow’s “WHATS POPPIN (Remix),” A$AP Ferg’s “No Ceilings,” and Ludacris’ “Silence Of The Lambs.”
