2 Chainz has revealed the release date for his forthcoming album So Help Me God. The LP, which will serve as a follow-up to his 2019 project Rap Or Go To The League, is set to be released on Sept. 25.

The “It’s A Vibe” emcee shared the news via an Instagram post. “SO HELP ME GOD Sept. 25,” he captioned the post of a few photos of himself wearing a Louis Vuitton fit paired with Yeezy slides.

He just released “Money Maker,” the first single from the upcoming project. Fans were first introduced to the collaboration track with Lil Wayne during his Verzuz battle against Rick Ross.

The song samples Southern University’s Human Jukebox marching band and the accompanying animated lyric video pays homage to HBCUs across the country. The official video for the single has not been released yet, but Chainz said that it is on the way.

Aside from music, the Georgia native is also making sure his fans stay involved in the upcoming presidential election. He recently teamed up with former First Lady Michelle Obama to help educate previous inmates on their voting rights.

“As you know, or may not know, me as well as many peers of my age and where I’m from have been incarcerated maybe once or twice in their lifetime,” Chainz said in the YouTube clip. “And for those of you that have been through those unfortunate circumstances, I would like to notify you about some of the things and give you some real clarity about voting and your rights.”

He then went on to talk about how the laws varied from state to state. “So basically, it just depends on what state you live in,” he said. “Each state has different laws. If you live in Maine, Vermont or D.C., you never actually lose your rights to vote, even while being incarcerated.”

“So, I feel like we’re spreading this small message can hopefully reach somebody out there that [doesn’t] think they have the chance and the opportunity, to take this opportunity to vote November 3,” Chainz concluded.
