If you missed it, the last episode of Swizz Beats and Timbaland’s “VERZUZ” pitted hip hop veterans 2 Chainz and Rick Ross’ against each other, making for one of the best battles we’ve seen thus far. We also got to enjoy some new music from the two past collaborators, with Rick Ross tackling social injustice and more on his new single “Pinned To The Cross.” 2 Chainz revealed a more upbeat track titled “Money Maker,” which features close friend Lil Wayne and sees the two artists creating a vivid strip club vibe over production from Playa Pizzle.

“Yeah, now shake that money-maker, don’t let that money make ya, you know I come to date you, and I’ll accommodate ya/

I’ll make you cum, I ate you, I know your home lately, I turn your curly hair into that bone straightener/

I make you moan, baby, it feel right, don’t it? I know I’m wrong, baby, that pheromone fragrance, can’t miss no car payments./

I kiss her earlobe, like, “What you doin’ later,” the broken alligator, them lames agitate ya…/”

As the track samples Southern University’s Human Jukebox marching band, the accompanying animated video pays homage to that institution, along with the many other HBCUs around the country. The clip also acts as a lyric visual for the sure to be highly spun offering.

“Money Maker” follows a slew of dope singles from 2 Chainz this year, including the Future-assisted cut “Dead Man Walking,” “No TV,” and the Skooly collaboration “Devil Just Trying To Be Seen.” Currently, he as Wayne are said to be working on the official follow-up to 2016’s ColleGrove — he’s also working on a new album of his own titled So Help Me God. Both are expected to make landfall before the end of the year.
