Steel Banglez definitely has a new heater on his hands for his latest single. This past week, the British beatsmith liberated the drill-inspired cut “Blama,” which features assistance from Tion Wayne and Morrisson. Co-produced by TheElements, the aggressive tune sees the contributing emcees keeping things very street-oriented in regards to subject matter:

“Roll up, big boy, blama, blama, white girl, Stacey, Anna, Anna, make man run, Mo Farah, Farah, broke youts make me para, para, in a dance, roll with the soldier, big wap, car with the chauffeur, streets cold, roll with the toaster, I still get figures and bang…”

Directed by Kelvin Jones, the accompanying visual begins in heightened fashion, with Steel Banglez pouring gas over his luxury car before flipping a lighter and setting it on fire — all as the collaborators walk away from the explosion in cinematic fashion. Elsewhere, the artists perform among their crew members in a warehouse, in front of what looks like a high-end residence and more.

Prior to “Blama,” Steel Banglez has delivered a slew of loose singles over the years, including “Bad” with Yungen, MoStack, Mr Eazi, and Not3s, “Your Lovin” with MØ and Yxng Bane, “Fashion Week” with AJ Tracey and MoStack, and “47” with Sidhu Moose Wala, Mist, and Stefflon Don. Outside of his own work, his production credits rivals that of your favorite behind the boards mastermind, having crafted hip hop, grime, and drill hits for the likes of D Double E, Wiley, Krept & Konan, Chip, Burna Boy, J Hus, Birdman, Dave, and Rudimental — the list of A-level connections could keep going.

Press play on Steel Banglez, Tion Wayne, and Morrisson’s “Blama” video below. The track is said to be taken from Banglez’s forthcoming project The Playlist, which will hopefully be making landfall sooner than later.
