This month marks the 10th anniversary of Jhené Aiko’s debut mixtape Sailing Soul(s), which originally saw 13 tracks and additional appearances from Gucci Mane, Miguel, Drake, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, and more. In celebration of that release, Aiko has revealed that the classic body of work has officially landed on all major streaming platforms.

The re-release of Sailing Soul(s) sees a few changes from the original — gone are Aiko’s collaborations with Drake and Lamar (“july” and “growing apart too,” respectively), and West is now absent from “sailing NOT selling.” As an alternative, fans now get four bonus tracks — including the Key Wane-produced “mirrors,” a song that made landfall a year after Sailing Soul(s)’ release. Accompanied by a black-and-white visual, “mirrors” was centered around Aiko having a talk with her mirror self:

“You’re my reflection, so tell me, why can’t you be more clear? What’s up with all these tears? Can’t be regrettin’ all that you’ve done, and have undone, that shit don’t matter here, what’s up with all your fears? You better consider all of the good times, a glimpse from the mirror, to tell me you’re just fine, alright…/”

Since the release of Sailing Soul(s), Aiko has released an EP (Sell Out), a collaborative album (TWENTY88), and three solo LPs — Souled Out, Trip, and Chilombo. Released last year, Chilombo contained 20 cuts with assists from Big Sean, H.E.R., Future, Ab-Soul, Nas, Ty Dolla $ign, and John Legend, among others. A critical and commercial success, Chilombo landed at number two on the Billboard 200 charts, selling 152,000 album equivalent units during its first week of release — eventually securing a Platinum plaque. A deluxe edition of Chilombo made landfall a few months later, adding on nine additional songs.
