Big Sean confirmed that he and his girlfriend Jhené Aiko are working on a follow-up to their TWENTY88 project.

During a recent “Ask Me Anything” session on Reddit, the “I Don’t Fuck With You” emcee said that they are currently working on the LP. “I really like ‘Time In,’” wrote a fan. “Are you guys working on a new TWENTY88 album?” Sean responded, “It’s in the works :).”

The Detroit native also spoke about the upcoming album during a recent interview on Hot 97’s “Ebro in the Morning.” When asked whether or not he and Aiko were doing another joint project, he replied, “I hope so, I think so.”

TWENTY88 went on to peak at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart following its April 2016 release. The album featured the hit singles “On The Way,” “London Bridge,” “Déjà Vu” and “2 Minute Warning.”

Earlier this year, Aiko dropped her third studio album Chilombo. It became the biggest debut for a female R&B artist since Beyoncé’s Lemonade and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top R&B Album chart and No. 2 on the Billboard 200.

Sean recently released his critically acclaimed fifth studio album Detroit 2. The project debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. He took to Instagram to send a special thank you out to all of his fans. “Thank you! I sacrificed my privacy, I put so many emotions and lessons I learned the hard way into this music and gave a honest glimpse into my heart,” he wrote on Instagram.

“It wasn’t easy, nights I thought of Offing myself cause Life was too heavy, but the lock in was worth it!” he continued. “Had to remember if I’m still here and so many aren’t, it’s for reason. My goal was to inspire YOU to turn yourself up in all ways, Mind, Body, n Soul. Life isn’t promised as we can see, so HAVE FUN and thank you so much for the #1 album for a 3rd time in a row! Let’s KEEP GOING, Why Would I stop?!”
