Twitter user @_LiyahLuxe tweeted, “Sis, ‘W.A.Y.S.’ has helped me in some of the lowest moments in my life to the highest point of my life. When I was depressed in college, becoming a new mother. Your music has really gotten me through so much and I appreciate YOU and this ALBUM.”

“How has this been 6 years?” tweeted @Tim_Gelt. “Happy Birthday! ‘W.A.Y.S.’ is still one of the greatest and best-written songs of ALL-TIME! I will be FOREVER grateful for this song on a highly personal level! Thank you @JheneAiko!”

Multimedia journalist Annie Costabile tweeted, “Idk if there is another album that’s meant more to me. ‘Lyin King,’ ‘W.A.Y.S.,’ ‘Wading,’ ‘It’s Cool,’ [and] ‘Pretty Bird’ ... every single song tbh.”

Twitter user @wavyxbieberr tweeted, “Souled Out changed my life. That album helped me when I was going through a lot mentally and emotionally. It spoke to me. Especially during my time of learning how to meditate. God bless you. @JheneAiko.”
