Back in April, Lil Tjay liberated his sophomore LP Destined 2 Win, which contains 21 tracks and additional features from 6LACK, Polo G, Fivio Foreign, Saweetie, Toosii, Offset, and Moneybagg Yo. The project was considered a critical and commercial success for the Bronx star, landing him at the number five spot on the Billboard 200 thanks to 62,000 album equivalent units sold during its first week of release.

This past weekend, Lil Tjay unloaded another visual from said release for “Gang Gang,” an L Beats-produced effort that sees him keeping things pretty street while showing love to his closest homies:

“Only my brothers, that’s word on my mother, you run up, you get more than fucked up, a nigga survive us, he lucked up, too many problems, we greasy, don’t trust us, and I keep me a burner on my side, think I’m pussy, you end up like Puff Puff, had to keep me a burner on my side, I done been through enough, I got tough luck...”

Courtesy of JL Shot That, the accompanying clip for “Gang Gang” sees Lil Tjay taking the cameras through his NYC stomping grounds, hanging with fans, walking through subway stops, playing basketball, and more. It clearly doesn’t matter how successful Tjay gets — he’ll always be close to home.

Last year, Tjay blessed his fans with the quick-strike EP State of Emergency, a seven-track offering with a slew of assists from Pop Smoke, Sheff G, Sleepy Hallow, Jay Critch, Jay Gwuapo, and more. 2020 also saw Tjay contributing to tracks like Lil Tecca’s “All Star,” Rvssian’s “Only The Team,” The Kid LAROI’s “Fade Away,” Pop Smoke’s “Mood Swings,” Calboy’s “Barbarian,” Rich The Kid’s “Depend On Me,” and YG’s “Hate On Me,” among many others.
