Today, Rich the Kid surprises fans with the release of his new EP, Lucky 7, out now officially via Rich Forever Music/EMPIRE. The 7-track bundle includes the previously released singles “Too Blessed,” featuring Quavo and Takeoff, and “Nasty,” which is a collaboration with three of hip-hop’s baddest newcomers, Mulatto, Rubi Rose and Flo Milli. Lucky 7 includes other collaborations like “Laughin” featuring DaBaby, “Boom Boom” featuring Lil Mosey and “Money Machine,” featuring SipTee, who is the newest addition to the Rich Forever Music roster. The “Money Machine” track also has a brand new music video out along with the arrival of the EP, which sees Rich The Kid rapping about how he still got money despite his circumstances:

I was trappin’ out that basement. Mama said, “Stay on that grind, boy, be patient.” I was runnin’ to the money, had to chase it. I had made a couple racks, I couldn’t waste it./ Now I’m laughin’ to the bank, got a big bag. Freaky little bitch, she gon’ ride like Six Flags. How the fuck I ran these millies up but I had skipped math?

“This is a playlist of the first seven songs I recorded before my album,” Rich shared, as he sets the tone for another busy year. Lucky 7 features production from longtime collaborators The Lab Cook, DJ Durel, Budda Beats, DJ Spins and more. The new EP follows Rich The Kid’s third studio album BOSS MAN, which was released in 2020 and saw assists from the likes of Lil Baby, Future, DaBaby, Nicki Minaj, Post Malone, Lil Tjay, and Quavo over 20 tracks.

The Rich Forever CEO also connected with past collaborator YoungBoy Never Broke Again for the joint effort Nobody Safe, a 15-track body of work that features additional assists from Rod Wave, Lil Wayne, and Quando Rondo. Since then, he shared his explosive visual for his tracks “Right,” “So Heartless,” and more. The latter song came paired with video that included cameos from Lil Wayne, Lil Tjay, Famous Dex, Rich’s fiancé Tori Brixx and a few others.
