Back in March, Lil Durk and his Only The Family collective dropped off a new compilation titled Loyal Bros, which sees 23 cuts and additional assists from Lil Uzi Vert, Tee Grizzley, BIG 30, EST Gee, Foogiano, and more. Today, fans get to see another visual from said release for “Turkey Season,” a TooDope, ATL Jacob, and TM88-produced effort that sees Durkio and Chief Wuk rapping about street subject matter:

“Turkey talk, huh, niggas mumble under their tongue, tell that nigga to talk up, he gon’ spark, you say my name too crazy, he do walk ups, and my P.O. on my ass, don’t call my phone, do pop ups, I bring my gun when I go to court, I don’t even trust my lawyer, I brought a pint for my lil’ brother, I gotta check for shortage/”

Directed by CrownSoHeavy, the accompanying clip shows Durk and Wuk stopping by a gas station shop to by cigars, and — upon leaving — happen upon a non-occupied truck full of marijuana. Needless to say, the duo’s night got exponentially better at the driver’s expense.

If anyone enjoyed a fruitful 2020, it’s Lil Durk. Almost a year ago today, he released his fifth studio LP Just Cause Y’all Waited 2, a 15-track offering with additional features from Lil Baby, Polo G, Gunna, and G Herbo. In addition to peaking within the top five of the Billboard 200, Just Cause Y’all Waited 2 also earned Durk a Gold certification. Months later, the Chicago star will follow that up with The Voice, an even bigger success that features contributions from YNW Melly, 6LACK, Young Thug, and the late King Von. Both Just Cause Y’all Waited 2 and The Voice came with deluxe editions, leaving Durk’s fans with endless amounts of music to enjoy.
