Currently, Capella Grey’s latest single “Gyalis” continues to take over the world, and has since spawned varied remixes from A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Fivio Foreign, Kranium, and more. This past weekend, West London’s own Angel decided to put his own spin on the “Back That Azz Up”-sampling cut, adding in WSTRN’s own Haile for a proper re-imagining that sees the artists singing about their travels, women, and more:
“Man a gyalis, anywhere me go, gyal a pree my package, when I’m in LA everytime I go Dallas, I can turn your chick house into my palace, lying to my girl like I got a show in Paris, bum buda bum-bum, just so I can fuck it, always got a couple jimmys in my pocket, I ain’t goin down, but I know she gon’ suck it, I ain’t gotta blow money outta my wallet, just to get a feel when I know she gon’ love it…”
Angel and Haile’s “Gyalis Remix” also sees an matching visual courtesy of Ineffable, Dench, and Owl Studio. Much like Capella Grey’s own clip, viewers can see the British stars outside with their respective crews and supporters, posted up in various areas around their neighborhood.
It’s been a few years since Angel liberated his last album Woman, which contained 14 cuts with additional features from Haile, Eric Bellinger, Giggs, and Chaz French. He then followed that with the bonafide hit “Blessings,” along with its remix that saw contributions from French Montana and Davido. Unfortunately, the world shut down as a result of COVID-19 shortly affair — despite this, Angel still kept his fans fed with his Quarantine EP, which boasted five songs and assists from Chaz Marcus, King Grizz, and Slof. Hopefully, the new release means that there’s plenty more to come soon.
