Last month, Tee Grizzley unloaded his third studio LP Built for Whatever, which sees 19 tracks and additional contributions from King Von, Quavo, Young Dolph, YNW Melly, Lil Durk, Lil Tjay, G Herbo, and more. This week, the Detroit emcee reveals a new visual from the project for “White Dior Tee,” a Brian313-produced effort that features fellow 300 Entertainment signee Allstar Lee and rising independent Boss Mu. The track sees the trio flexing their overall wealth on wax:
“M’s on my card, but I still keep me a bankroll, this white Dior tee, it cost me ten pairs G-Fazos, that boy ain’t got a deal, but spent 50K on Rodeo, and Lee just got a deal, before his deal, he had his chain froze, pull up to the trenches, glizzies with them switches, niggas don’t like gang ‘cause they be fuckin’ niggas’ bitches, bro hit his bitch, now he callin’ bro an opp, goofy-ass niggas out here dyin’ over thots...”
The accompanying video sees direction from BenMarc and MDotForMayor, and shows the artists in a room with colorful lighting where strippers can also be seen dancing to the bouncing track. Elsewhere, Tee Grizzley & Co. perform in front of a Dior shop and in a recording studio.
“White Dior Tee” follows previously released visuals from Built For Whatever for “Never Bend Never Fold,” “Late Night Calls,” “White Lows Off Designer,” “Built To Last,” and “Quit Trappin.” This year has also seen Grizzley deliver loose cuts like “Gave That Back” with Baby Grizzley and “Robbery Part Two,” and contribute verses on top quality songs like Jackboy’s “Notice Me.” Prior to, he liberated last year’s mixtape The Smartest, another well-received body of work with assists from the likes of Big Sean and Meek Mill.
