In terms of releases, Lil Keed has been spoiling his fans with consistency. The Atlanta rapper is back with his latest visual, this time for his “Cold World” track off his August project Trapped On Cleveland 3. The new Garfield Larmond-directed video for “Cold World” follows a slew of other visuals he recently dropped off, including “Tighten Up” “Kiss ‘Em Peace” Obama Coupe,” “Fox 5,” and “Here.”

On “Cold World,” Keed shouts out his brother and fellow rapper, Lil Gotit:

“My hitters, they run up my side, s**t, just like a pager. Yeah, they hate, you know I’m on my grind, goin’ up, escalator. I shot ‘em point-blank range like a Fader. Doin’ every point, I don’t need a fader. I do what the f**k I want, n****a, I ain’t stand no hater. I learned that from Lil Gotit (Slatt Gotit).”

Trapped On Cleveland 3 features a solid list of assists including Young Thug, Travis Scott, Ty Dolla $ign, Future, and Lil Baby. Prior to the recent body of work, Keed released Long Live Mexico in 2019, and both Keed Talk To ‘Em and Trapped On Cleveland 2 in 2018. Earlier this year, he grabbed a spot on the XXL Freshman list alongside his fellow rap peers like Polo G, Fivio Foreign, CHIKA, Lil Tjay, Jack Harlow, and more.

In an August interview with Complex, Lil Keed speaks about his growth as both an artist and man over the last few years:

“Back then, I was talking about stuff like typical rappers: shooting, killing, just saying s**t because that’s what everybody wanted to hear. I was just talking about the stuff that happened in the streets and stuff around me. Now that I done grew from all that and I done moved myself out of that situation, I’m letting folks know why I was so trapped on Cleveland, as far as me going to the hood every day and all the shootouts. I just had to move myself out of the situation to better myself and my family.”
