This Sunday (December 13), Tobe Nwigwe will release his latest project Cincoriginals, the fifth installment of a series that began with the critically acclaimed THE ORIGINALS. in 2018. The project will see 14 tracks and additional features from EARTHGANG, Big K.R.I.T., Bun B, CyHi The Prynce, Black Thought, Royce da 5’9”, and more.
Following dope visuals for “WILDLINGS,” “BOZOS,” and “FATHER FIGURE,” Nwigwe liberates a new clip for “HEADSHOTS,” which features D Smoke and sees the two rapping about the journey from the streets to success over production from LaNell Grant:
“Look, coast to coast my approach to the quotes ain’t the most grandiose, but to commodes, I’m still the hot caca, top shottas and Glock poppers, know I spit hot lava, in hopes to hear a verse that may can stop trauma/
Or at least ease the pain, ’cause where I’m from kappas don’t flip cane, drug dealers do, and if it just so happen that you hear some cappin’, and your partners let it rain, you a killer too…/”
The visual comes courtesy of Nwigwe and Nate The Director and begins with the Texas emcee and some dancers performing while lying on the ground. D Smoke can then be seen rapping while in the ocean alongside dancers of his own. Essentially, the clip continues the unique stylings and imagery seen in many of Tobe Nwigwe’s videos.
