Following some well-received mixtapes and collaborations, Loski has officially delivered to the world his debut LP Music, Trial, & Trauma: A Drill Story, which sees 16 tracks and a slew of assists from Fredo, Popcaan, Davido, Aitch, Emeli Sandé, Mike Skinner, and more. In addition to the full-length release, Loski also follows his creative visual for the Stormzy-backed “Flavour” with a new clip for “Teddy Bruckshot 2,” the sequel to 2018’s Call Me Loose standout “Teddy Bruckshot.” Produced by Santi Beats, the track sees Loski back on the hard-hitting street raps that he’s become known for:

“I’m from the O like Von and Boss Top, say you’re on job, get knocked off, hands on a woosh lockjaw, I wear CC twice then cop more, they must me dumb, man are tweaking, nuff of them yutes been bun like hotdog.../”

As a member of the South London drill collective Harlem Spartans, Loski has been crafting some of the biggest records within the genre for the past few years. He eventually liberated the aforementioned mixtape Call Me Loose, followed by 2019’s Mad Move. He spoke to Apple Music in a recent interview on America’s initial influence and UK drill’s eventual evolution:

“Drill is my genre and I feel like I’m owning that now ... When I was younger, Chicago’s drill music had a big influence on us. I remember every day going home from school to look on YouTube at all the Chicago music and what was going on. Then people from Brixton started doing it, but we were also speeding up the tempo of the beats almost, we didn’t know we would start anything, it’s just what we were into.”
