Cam’ron is on a roll. For starters, the Harlem legend’s sports and entertainment talk show, “It Is What It Is,” is now one of the most popular of its kind on YouTube and related social media platforms. His network that oversees the series, Come And Talk 2 Me, is also expanding to include new additional content.

On Sunday (July 9), Killa took to Instagram to reveal that he’s been in the studio working on a new mixtape titled It Is What It Is, which is set to arrive July 28. In the short clip, the Dipset captain raps over an unreleased track, quickly reminding his fans that he hasn’t lost a step lyrically.

Tony Soprano, North New Jersey where the GOAT is at, Gotham City, I’m right here where all the Jokers at, South Miami, Bal Harbour, that’s where the boat is at, Flea Fonz, we poppin’, where the smokers at?”

Back in May, Cam’ron paid a visit to FOX 5 New York (below), where he opened up about his venture into media and journalism. “They’ve been coming to me for years to do a podcast and do this type of thing and do that type of thing,” he began. “I don’t want to talk to people for a living, if that’s gonna make my living. So I was like, ‘I love sports and I need to be on television.’ People always offering me to do things on television. Let me create my own show — not somebody give me a show and see how it goes.”

As far as musically, Cam teamed up with A-Trak for the well-received EP U Wasn’t There in 2022. That project consisted of nine dope cuts and assists from Conway The Machine, Damon Dash, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, Styles P, and more. Since then, he’s kept his fans fed with “Gorilla Lion Hyena (GLH),” a collaboration alongside Ma$e and Jadakiss, and the 2wo Offishall-assisted “Coke Dreams.”
