Just one week after she dropped her first EP of 2021, Rap?, GRAMMY-nominated multi-hyphenate artist Tierra Whack is already back and doubling down on her momentum with a second EP, Pop?, out today (Dec. 9). Pop? boasts production from Tierra’s frequent collaborator J Melodic and is a short and sweet three-song EP tackles love and relationships. The EP is paired with the official visual for “Body of Water,” which is spearheaded by the award-winning director Cat Solen, who also directed the videos for Tierra’s songs “Link” and “Unemployed.” On the track, Tierra gets honest:

I’ve never been to jail, tell a n***a that I’m in here like gel/ I just want the paper, can I read the mail? Tell them it’s a fee without the male/ Do tell, do tell, yeah, you dig it like a ditch/ If I paid you some attention you would probably be rich

The two EP’s are the long-awaited follow-ups to her groundbreaking 2018 project, Whack World and arrives a few weeks after her recent “Walk The Beat” single. Back in 2018, Tierra Whack shocked the world with her official debut Whack World, a conceptual release with 15 one-minute songs that came with a matching short film. That project quickly rose to become a well-received body of work that set the tone for her successful career. The following year, she then joined the likes of Blueface, DaBaby, Megan Thee Stallion, Roddy Ricch, (YBN) Cordae, Rico Nasty, and Gunna as the latest inductee into XXL’s Freshman class.

Since then, Whack has released an album’s worth of loose cuts to the masses, including “Only Child,” “Clones,” “Gloria,” “Wasteland,” “Dora,” “Peppers and Onions,” and “Unemployed” — she also provided show-stealing verses on tracks like Alicia Keys’ “Me x 7” and Lil Yachty’s “T.D.” Also recently, she revealed a spaced-out visual for the well-received “Link” and showed support for her hometown NBA team with “76.”

Be sure to press play on Tierra Whack’s brand new Pop? EP.
