Tierra Whack has returned with new material after her whirlwind Grammy nomination for "MUMBO JUMBO" and her Philly-reppin'-chic dress on the red carpet. The new song, entitled "Only Child" reflects on relationships where one self-possessed person's inconsiderate practices leave the other feeling neglected ("Every other day, you forget how to care about me, about me"). The production is simple and fluid, with a watery synthesizer alternating between a few sparse chords. The track would not be out of place on the infamously short-attention-span and industry-rattling "Whack World", where each of the fifteen songs are each 1 minute long, the difference being this time we get a full length track and the anticipation of another music video. Here's to hoping, bless us with another staggering visual Tierra please!
