Twitter is back at it again with another musical debate — and this time it involves legendary R&B groups Jodeci and Boyz II Men. On Tuesday (March 9), several people on social media shared their reasoning for why they thought one group was better than the other.

Boyz II Men, which currently consists of Nathan Morris, Wanya Morris and Shawn Stockman, formerly held the record for the longest amount of weeks at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. They are most known for their hit songs “End Of The Road,” “I’ll Make Love To You,” “On Bended Knee,” “Motownphilly,” “Let It Snow,” “It’s So Hard To Say Goodbye” and “A Song For Mama.”

Jodeci formed in Charlotte, North Carolina in the late 1980s. The group consists of DeVanté Swing, Mr. Dalvin, K-Ci, and JoJo. They are most known for their hit tracks “Come and Talk to Me,” “Forever My Lady,” “Love U 4 Life,” “Stay,” “Feenin’” and “Freek’n You.”

With such amazing songs under their belts, people on social media couldn't decide which group was better. Twitter user @KittenKuroi tweeted, “No one asked me to chime in, but....Boyz II Men made it so that ‘Urban’ boy bands could. Paving the way for Jodeci could take the concept to another level. Honestly, they’re both COMPLETELY different and ABSOLUTELY MY FAVES. AND Boyz II Men still out here slaying.”

Jodeci is for fuxin. Boyz II Men is for love,” tweeted @stutterjawnpod. “Stop pitting two bad bitches against each other. it’s sick and yall should be ashamed.”

Social media user @writeforwhiskey wrote, “This cannot be a comparison. Boyz II Men was about love, lovemaking and some heartbreak. Jodeci was straight fuckin’ and begging. [Boyz II Men] brought you home [at] 9 p.m. on the dot, Jodeci got you grounded. Both are needed in a proper mixtape.”

“The fact that Boyz II Men and Jodeci came out around the same time as each other in the 90s and BOTH of them dominating the charts with two different types of sound and vibes. Them coexisting and being successful, that’s what gives me life!” tweeted @ NINETIESRNB.
