If it ain’t broke right?

With BET’s The New Edition Story having achieved record ratings, Tupac’s story hitting theaters this summer, Nas’ and Michael Jackson’s in the works to come to TV, Mike Epps cast to play Richard Pryor, Jamie Foxx working on a Marvin Gaye drama, and former President Barack Obama seeing not one, but two adaptations of his life hit screens last year, it’s no secret that biopics are all the rage.

And now we have yet another one to anticipate.

Jodeci member Mr. Dalvin recently confirmed during an interview that a biopic detailing the R&B band is being developed.

Dalvin told Bay Area radio station Q102.3, “That’s in the works already. They started the process last September — we just finished the script and we’re going into production next month, so we’re looking at an end of the year release….VH1 bought the rights.”

In an Instagram post, he added, “casting…will be announced soon.”
