Snoop Dogg was involved in a car accident, but thankfully, he’s survived. On Tuesday (Oct. 5), the West Coast rapper took to Instagram to reveal that he “crashed in the rain,” while showing off the damages to his vehicle.
Hours later, the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” star posted a photo in what appears to be a parking lot with multiple vehicles. “Bac up n moving,” he wrote. Further details about Snoop’s car crash were not disclosed.
The rapper’s recent accident comes on the heels of some much greater news. Snoop will be joining Dr. Dre, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar and Eminem in Feb. 13 for the Super Bowl Halftime Show. He announced that he’s working on his 19th studio album, Algorithm, which will feature “a lot of big name acts” as well as a project for kids, and recently disclosed his plans for Def Jam as their newest executive creative and strategic consultant.
“I wanted to go over there and give a lot of opportunity to the artists over there to get some information, some wisdom and some guidance from me and then also develop some new acts and give some opportunity...,” he said in an interview with Jimmy Fallon.
“I’m over there for one reason: to get the music back poppin’ and to make the people feel like they’re supposed to feel.”
