The track can be found on MO3’s posthumous ‘Shottaz 4Eva (Deluxe).’

Back in April, fans were able to check out MO3’s posthumous solo LP Shottaz 4Eva, a 12-track body of work that saw additional assists from Boosie Badazz, Foogiano, TFN Lucci, Tre Dae, and OG Bobby Billions. Just last month, a deluxe edition of Shottaz 4Eva surfaced with eight additional cuts and new collaborations alongside Kevin Gates, Derez De’Shon and Morray.

Just before September arrived, a video for the album standout “Slide On Em” made landfall. Produced by Hoodwitanotha1, the track sees the late Dallas talent rapping about street-oriented subject matter:

“My family playin’ dirty games, but look, it’s cool, I introduced them to my murder gang, HSM, I know you heard how we did wusaname, them other niggas barely made it, but they still felt my pain, choppas, they stocked up yellin’ red rum, and that’s on gang, y’all gave the drop to one of my opps, so you gon’ die in vain, like that lil’ nigga did, put ‘em up and let ‘em know that it’s like that for the rest of them…”

The accompanying clip for “Slide On Em” sees MO3 with his engineer in the studio, recording the track and playing it back for a friend on the phone. The video is certainly a bittersweet one, giving the viewer a glimpse into the mind of a man who’s life ended far too soon.

Prior to Shottaz 4Eva, MO3 — real name Melvin Abdul Noble Jr. — teamed up with Boosie for the full-length joint effort Badazz MO3, a well-received project that contained 15 songs with no other features. Months later, the rising star was shot and killed on a highway back in November. He was only 28 years old, leaving behind three children.
