Just a few months ago, Benny The Butcher teamed up with Harry Fraud for The Plugs I Met 2, the sequel to 2019’s The Plugs I Met that saw nine tracks with additional features from Fat Joe, Chinx, 2 Chainz, French Montana, Jim Jones, Rick Hyde, and Teyonahhh. In addition to its regular release, fans could also purchase a limited edition vinyl, some of which also came with a “Flexi Disc” with a song titled “Sink,” a track that sees Benny rapping about his incarceration and past illegal activities, as well as its overall effect on his family and loved ones:

“My bitch doin’ her, I was somewhere stressin’ on that bunk, my shortest mid hurt the worst and it was only for eight months, damn, put that on the seeds, caught cases you wouldn’t believe, went to war with the DA in tailored suits, no fatigues, my daughter gettin’ older, I spent half her life in prison, I spent the other half baggin’ white off the dishes…”

Now, those who missed out on the aforementioned vinyl can enjoy “Sink” in its entirety by heading to their favorite streaming platform.

2020 was a major year for Benny The Butcher and his Black Soprano Family collective — beginning with the crew’s joint release with DJ Drama in July. Months later, Benny would connect with Hit-Boy for his sophomore studio LP Burden of Proof, which saw contributions from Rick Ross, Freddie Gibbs, Big Sean, Lil Wayne, Dom Kennedy, Queen Naija, and — of course — Griselda cohorts Westside Gunn and Conway The Machine. BSF members delivered music of their own as well, including Hyde’s Plates 2 on the Way EP and Heem’s Long Story Short with DJ Green Lantern.

Enjoy Benny The Butcher and Harry Fraud’s “Sink.” For the few that missed it, The Plugs I Met 2 can be streamed in its entirety here.
