Late last year, both Duke Deuce and Foogiano began teasing a new collaboration titled “SPIN” on social media, complete with a preview of what looks like an accompanying music video. This week, we all are now able to enjoy the track in full, which sees the two repping their street backgrounds over production from HitKidd and YS Trakkz:

“Trappin’ and rappin’, I was pistol packin’, made it happen, I had them gutter babies in your attic, nigga, they gon’ bring me back the package, all of this ice, yeah, know I gotta keep a pipe, know on my mama, nigga, I ain’t gonna fight, nigga, try me, I’ma take your life…/”

Signed to Quality Control Music, Duke Deuce made multiple appearances on Coach K and Pee’s 2019 compilation Control the Streets, Volume 2, which became the label’s second top ten project thanks to 63,000 album equivalent units sold during its first week of release. The following year, the Memphis rapper liberated Memphis Massacre 2, the sequel to 2018’s Memphis Massacre that saw 12 tracks and additional appearances from Lil Thad, Lil Yachty, Lil Jon, Juicy J, and Project Pat. This Friday (February 26), he’ll drop off his new full-length Duke Nukem, which boasts 14 dope cuts and — in addition to his “SPIN” collaborator — sees assists from Mulatto, A$AP Ferg, Offset, Young Dolph, and Lil Keed.

Foogiano has been making big waves of his own and a prominent member of Gucci Mane’s New 1017 collective, joining fellow cohorts Pooh Sheisty, Roboy, K Shiday, Enchanting, and Big Scarr on last year’s So Icy Summer and So Icy Gang (Vol. 1) projects. His own 24-track body of work, the well-received Gutta Baby, also made landfall last November with a slew of contributions from DaBaby, Lil Baby, Jacquees, Tay Keith, and more.
