It’s been just a little over six months since Quality Control rapper Lil Baby released his sophomore effort My Turn and it’s already double platinum, making him the first artist of the year to reach the milestone.

Upon its release in February, My Turn sold nearly 200,000 and quickly hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 where it spent five weeks at the top. In May, six bonus tracks were added to the album for the deluxe version which consequently pushed it back up the charts, giving it more staying power.

The critically-acclaimed project is home to popular cuts such as his multi-platinum selling single “Woah” and Billboard Hot 100 banger “We Paid” featuring 42 Dugg. It also includes additional guest appearances from Gunna, Lil Uzi Vert, Young Thug and Future.

To date, My Turn has accumulated approximately over 4 billion streams and continues to be this year’s highest-selling and highest-streaming album. Since 12 songs off the album dominated the charts at one point, Lil Baby currently ties Prince and Paul McCartney with 47 entries on the Billboard Hot 100.

“Two Times Platinum In 6 1/2 months,” the Atlanta rapper captioned on Instagram. “Thank You.”

Lil Baby’s album going two-times platinum is just one of many accomplishments the 25-year-old has attained this year. He earned his first No. 1 single in June with his moving social justice number “The Bigger Picture,” which addresses police brutality and the death of George Floyd. He was also nominated for Best Rap/Sung Performance at the Grammy’s along with his friend and frequent collaborator Gunna for “Drip Too Hard.”

To celebrate his latest glowing achievement of being the first artist of the year to go double platinum, the 4PF leader is making sure to maintain the excitement surrounding My Turn and released his music video for My Turn stand-out “Forget That” featuring Rylo Rodriguez.
