After sharing his recent cuts like the Denzel Curry-assisted “Scared” and also “Back At It” featuring ICECOLDBISHOP and Ab-Soul, Kembe X has returned with another offering. The Chicago rapper taps Guapdad 4000 to assist him in his latest single “Too Bad,” where Kembe opens up the song with his laid back but boastful flow:

I got the whole world in my hands. I got God up inside me, you see it in my stance. I might fuck your girl tonight, man. I ain’t going outside, while these other n****s can. What I do? Keep my foot on all these n***as necks. Where I been? Nike lab plottin’ on a check. How I’m doin’? Not cool too bad, I’m blessed. Heard you been in line forever. Well that’s too bad, I’m next. I got hoes that wanna fuck me, I just don’t be hittin’ up.

Prior to releasing his recent singles, Kembe has already shown his chemistry with both artists across tracks such as “Raised A Fool” and “As I Unfold” with Ab-Soul, and the recent “Keitel Sword” with ICECOLDBISHOP. Since coming off tour with Schoolboy Q late last year and having to cancel his own headlining tour earlier this year due to the pandemic, Chicago native, Kembe has been busy cooking in the studio in Los Angeles. Other singles this year from him include “Love (Dangerous),” “Entendre” featuring GATECITYCRAIG, and “Sad.”

Most recently, Guapdad dropped off his street racer “Alpha” music video and swiftly followed up with a hilarious video for its official remix featuring Bfb Da Packman. This year, Guap can be heard on features like “HALO HALO (Remix)” by Shawn Wasabi and also on the deluxe version of Deante Hitchcock’s BETTER album on the introspective track “Déjà Vu.” Guapdad 4000 shared his Dior Deposit s project back in 2019, which included a lengthy list of guest appearances including names like Maxo Kream, Denzel Curry, Slimmy B. G-Eazy, and more. The project was led by his “Gucci Pajamas” single with Chance the Rapper and the legendary Charlie Wilson.
