Last month, Lil Wayne teamed up with his Young Money cohorts Gudda Gudda and Hoodybaby to release the new track “NFL,” which also functions as a promotional tool for Amazon’s “TNF On Prime” broadcasts. Fans also got an animated visual to match, which featured cartoon versions of the rappers balling out on an Amazon Video football field.

Today, Weezy F. Baby unveils an official video for “NFL,” which is directed by Eif Rivera and starts with a janitor sneaking a break in a locker room, before the room starts shaking and Gudda Gudda and Hoodybaby make a grand entrance. Elsewhere, Lil Wayne is enjoying the perks of Amazon’s video streaming service from the comfort of his home. Eventually, all three appear in a warehouse with a makeshift field of turf and some dancers, adding to the overall energy of the clip while the artists deliver lyrical references to the gridiron:

“Got some goons up in Shrewsbury, turn a grape head to a prune head, a snake head to a wound head, some snake heads be two-headed, got two guns for that type of shit, ballin’ like we at the Super Bowl, scorin’ touchdowns and just spike this shit/

You know the other team, they don’t like this shit, tell ‘em kick it off, n***a, here’s the tip, party ‘cause we win it every year, players can’t respect better players, ballin’ like we in the NFL…/”

In addition to his apparent support for Donald Trump and the losing political party of this year’s election, Wayne has also kept busy providing a slew of assists to songs like City Girls’ “Pussy Talk (Remix),” Pop Smoke’s “Iced Out Audemars (Remix),” Benny The Butcher’s “Timeless,” YG’s “Blood Walk,” and 2 Chainz’s “Money Maker,” among others. Last September also saw a deluxe edition of Tha Carter V, adding 10 additional cuts to the 2018 release.
