In just a few weeks; Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Dr. Dre will join forces at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California to perform at the 2022 Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show. On Thursday (Jan. 20), Pepsi released a trailer to get fans excited about the star-studded show.

The clip, which was made in collaboration with filmmaker F. Gary Gray, features all five musical legends as they travel across the country, or state, to get to the SoFi Stadium.

The trailer opens up on Eminem rearranging a wall full of lyrics while standing opposite the alter ego of his younger self: Slim Shady. After getting a text invitation to perform at the Super Bowl, the “Rap God” spitter hops on board a plane.

Snoop Dogg is the next artist featured in the clip, as viewers see him driving along a California street bumping the 2011 hit, “The Next Episode.”

The clip then pans over to Mary J. Blige, who is in the middle of a glamorous photo shoot. Once the “No More Drama” songstress gets her invitation to perform, she hops in a luxury car and speeds off toward Los Angeles.

Kendrick Lamar is seen vigorously writing rap lyrics in his segment as his 2017 hit “HUMBLE” plays in the background. Later, Snoop picks up Dr. Dre, who is walking along a beach that turns into a keyboard.

All five heavyweights meet outside of the SoFi Stadium, which will host Super Bowl LVI on Feb. 13. Appearing on “Monday Night Football,” Snoop previously shared how excited he is for the hip hop-heavy performance.

“We so thankful that the NFL is accepting hip hop on stage and letting us do what we do,” the Doggfather said. “We plan on putting together a great show to give the people something that they been waiting on.”

The 2022 Super Bowl will be broadcast live on NBC and Peacock starting at 6 p.m. EST, with a kickoff time set for 6:30 p.m. Watch the trailer below.
