Currently, FKA twigs is said to be working on a new project titled CAPRI SUN, which is expected to make landfall sometime between now at the top of next year. In the meantime, the British talent looks to hold her fans over with “Tears In The Club,” an Arca-produced offering that features assistance from The Weeknd and sees the two harmonizing about losing themselves over a love interest during a visit to the dance floor:

“I wanna get you out of my hips, my thighs, my head, my eyes, my late night cries, I wanna take my clothes off, wanna touch my hips, my thighs, my head, want yours on mine, yeah, wanna touch you out of my body, touch you out of my hips, my thighs, my wrongs, my rights, yeah, listen to the rhythm and make no compromise, ’cause you hurt me, I don’t wanna believe that I belong to you, I lost myself in ways that you could never do, I want you more, I want you more…”

Upon CAPRI SUN‘s eventual release, the project will follow 2019’s Magdalene, twigs sophomore LP that contained nine songs and a single assist from Future on the Sounwave, Kenny Beats, Koreless, Jack Antonoff, and Skrillex-backed “holy terrain.” Since then, the dancer-songstress has contributed to tracks like The 1975’s “What Should I Say,” Ty Dolla $ign‘s “Ego Death,” and 645AR’s “Sum Bout U” — the “Two Weeks” talent has also served up collaborative singles like “Don’t Judge Me” with Headie One and Fred again.., “Why Don’t You Love Me” with Dua Lipa, and (most recently) “Measure Of A Man,” a John Hill-produced offering that featured white-hot rapper Central Cee and was created for the forthcoming spy action film The King’s Man.
