Just before Christmas arrives, moviegoers will get to check out The King’s Man, the third installment of the Kingsman series that stars Ralph Fiennes, Rhys Ifans, Matthew Goode, Tom Hollander, Djimon Hounsou, and more. In promotion of the movie, last month saw FKA twigs team up with Central Cee for the John Hill-produced “Measure of a Man,” which matches the film’s spy agency plot with bars about valor and resilience:

“Nobody, feels the pain behind the love you show, nobody, feels the burden that is yours alone, if when the morning comes, you’re not with me, I know that you’ll return with destiny, only you can truly understand, the measure of a hero is the measure of a man…”

The accompanying clip for “Measure of a Man” comes courtesy of Diana Kunst and beginning with a scene from The King’s Man, which shows some of the characters in the middle of a meeting. Things then segue into cinematic shots of FKA twigs donning a sword and “battling” against a fast-moving opponent (played by model Alton Mason). Central Cee eventually appears in a blood orange-colored environment to perform his verse while twigs breaks out in dance around him.

Back in 2019, FKA twigs released her last studio LP Magdalene, a nine-track effort that featured Future on the standout cut “Holy Terrain.” We’ve since seen her teaming up with Headie One and Fred again.. for “Don’t Judge Me” — she’s also teased a new collaboration with Dua Lipa titled “Why Don’t You Love Me,” which is presumed to act as a single from a forthcoming follow-up album. Meanwhile, Central Cee has quickly become one of UK drill‘s hottest acts, much in part thanks to his March debut Wild West. That 14-song mixtape earned the Shepherd’s Bush star top spots on the UK’s R&B Albums and Official Albums charts, respectively. In addition to Wild West, Cee has also liberated viral singles like “The Great Escape” with Blanco, “Meant to Be” with Stay Flee Get Lizzy and Fredo, “Little Bit of This,” and “Obsessed with You.”
