It’s only been some months since Quando Rondo released his latest project Still Taking Risks, which boasted singles like “Okay,” “Angel Wings,” “Red Eye,” “Soul Reaper,” and “Purple Baby.” Since then, he’s continued his momentum with more recently released drops like “Time Spent,” “Real Steppa,” and “Who Can I Trust” — all of which are expected to land on a follow-up full-length release before year’s end.

Yesterday (Nov. 24), Quando added to that with “The Realest,” a David Soul, Kayo, Dissan, and Amart-produced offering that sees the Savannah rapper conversing to his significant other his love for her, past and current situations that have him mentally scarred, and more:

“I’m fucked about you, girl, I’m goin’ insane, I focus on the better tractions, I wonder if you feel the same, thirty-five hundred, check your CashApp, I thought love don’t cost a thing, I’m somewhere high up in the sky, I’m ‘bout to jump out the plane, never know, once you wanna run up, let ‘em speak on your name, and this a shame that I can say I trust you more than my mans…”

Courtesy of Ace The Shooter comes an accompanying clip for “The Realest” that sees Quando Rondo being affectionate with his girlfriend, matching the song’s emotionally charged subject matter. He can also be seen performing the track solo in different locations throughout.

In a past interview with ItsBizkit for REVOLT’s “Wow That’s Crzy” series, Quando spoke on how signing with YoungBoy Never Broke Again was a big factor in his career success:

“It was really just a grind … With the help of my label, with the help of NBA [Youngboy], with the help of everyone in my corner, I feel like I got the fans … I feel like I got to keep grinding to get them amazed and really have them in a headlock.”
