Last week, Problem blessed the masses with his latest project Smoke Break, a four-song EP that keeps with much of the same themes as his August drop Coffee Break. Following a visual for “Standing Ovation,” the Compton emcee keeps the momentum going with a new clip for “Just Outside (Remix),” a re-imagining of the Coffee & Kush, Vol. 2 standout “Just Outside” that switches out production from Don Cannon for CHASETHEMONEY and adds on an amazing contribution from Raleigh-to-L.A. talent Spoon, who can be heard rapping about his grind for success:

“It’s like I will rap for food, you’ll need a mil to sign us, with the dash wit’ two bucks, no Chris, no Giannis, my creed a lil’ different, I’ma young Adonis, last of a dying breed, yea it’s hard to find us, studied the game, was focused like it was SATs, I never sat with the squares, my circle’s full of Gs, niggas change and fall off, before them autumn leaves, change and fall off, it’s still the summer breeze…”

Directed by Taylor Bonin, the accompanying video for “Just Outside (Remix)” is mainly centered around Problem taking a jog through the city — throughout, we see him passing by another version of himself, the remains of Compton High School, and a cemetery. Things then switch to him riding around in a truck with Spoon delivering his poignant verse from the backseat.

Coffee & Kush, Vol. 2 was released in September of last year, and acted as the direct follow-up to Coffee & Kush, Vol. 1, which made landfall months prior. Originally, Vol. 2 saw 11 tracks with top tier assists from the likes of Tyrese, Jack Harlow, Jay Rock, Terrace Martin, Freddie Gibbs, and Snoop Dogg — Snoop can also be heard on the Smoke Break cut “DIM MY LIGHT.”
