Unfortunately, YoungBoy Never Broke Again continues to remain behind bars for gun charges, and is currently awaiting trial in Louisiana. Fortunately for fans, the Baton Rouge star isn’t allowing his legal issues to stop the release of music. This week sees the TnTXD and Vadebeatz-produced offering “Nevada,” an apparent ode to YoungBoy’s significant other:

“Don’t know who I want, you the one I want, never said I don’t, that’s that money talk, drunker than a skunk, it go down in the room, choppas in the trunk, baby, this that slime tone, but I need your love like right now, baby, I’m not on no drugs, not right now, it’s the truth, I apologize for you lookin’ like a fool…”

It’s presumed — and hopeful — that YoungBoy is still moving forward with the forthcoming release of the highly anticipated Sincerely, Kentrell, which is expected to boast previous singles like “Territorial,” “Green Dot,” “How I Been,” “White Teeth,” and “I Ain’t Scared.” Upon its release, the album will follow last year’s Top, YoungBoy’s second official LP that saw 21 tracks and a couple of appearances from Snoop Dogg and Lil Wayne. That project was a massive commercial success as well, landing YoungBoy his third number one album — thanks to 126,000 first week album equivalent units — and, subsequently, a Gold certification.

Just before July hit, YoungBoy Never Broke Again made a surprise appearance on Tyler, The Creator’s CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST standout “WASYANAME,” prompting many to consider the track one of the best heard this year. Tyler has even taken to social media to show love to YoungBoy in a response to a fan:

Press play on YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s “Nevada” below. Optimistically, some positive non-music news with arrive for the hip hop frontrunner sooner than later.
