This past weekend, Young Thug and his Young Stoner Life collective blessed the world with Slime Language 2, the second installment of a compilation series that first made landfall back in 2018. This go ‘round, fans get a healthy 23 cuts with additional assists from Travis Scott, Drake, Rowdy Rebel, Lil Baby, Lil Uzi Vert, Coi Leray, Big Sean, Skepta, Future, YNW Melly, Kid Cudi, Meek Mill, and loads more.

Following the release of Slime Language 2 comes a visual from the project for “Ski,” a Lil Justin, Outtatown, and Wheezy-produced effort that sees Thugger and his right hand Gunna living their lives to the fullest:

“I told her she gotta run through the team before she can talk to the leader, lamb chop, I just pulled up in some food, I told lil’ mama, ‘Tie all my shoes,’ showed her two million cash, now she woozy, twenty watches and I’m still snoozin’, I had came up out the trenches, then I had beat a few bodies like Boosie, she said, ‘You murk ‘em, I show you my coochie’/”

Directed by Omar Jones, the accompanying clip depicts a massive house/pool party, complete with a countless number of women, plenty of YSL-aligned cameos, and — presumably as a callback to the song’s title — some faux snow for the artists and eye candy to “ski” on.

Chronologically, Slime Language 2 follows last May’s Slime & B, a joint effort between Thug and Chris Brown and saw 13 cuts and contributions from Major Nine, Shad Da God, Too $hort, E-40, Lil Duke, Hoodbaby, and — of course — close collaborators Future and Gunna. More recently, the Slime & B standout “Go Crazy” received a remix with new verses from Future (again), Lil Durk, and Mulatto.
