Giggs is back. Today, the South London hip hop veteran has surprised us all with a new mixtape titled Now Or Never, which contains 16 cuts and features from KYZE, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Aystar, Tiny Boost, Jorja Smith, Dave, Emeli Sandé, and more. In addition to the new body of work, Giggs also released a music video for the single “Buff Baddies,” which is produced by Trooh Hippi and is about exactly what you think it is:

“Buff baddies, yeah, buff baddies upIn the cut rallied, and I’m Puff Daddy, love, and I’m up Manny, yeah, big Hollowman made a flash cammy, ‘cause I’m in and I’m out, Harry met Sally/

Ha-ha, gotta laugh ’cause I’m that savvy, bad man doesn’t dance, ’cause I’m that aggy, black flag in the dance, feeling black flaggy, and I pack Maggi…/”

The visual for “Buff Baddies” is directed by Myles Whittingham, and is filled with beautiful women of all kinds, all mixed with footage of Giggs performing the hard-hitting track in a warehouse. It’s a song that would have been sure to get bodies moving on the dance floor — if the western world wasn’t still under varying levels of quarantine due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Now Or Never follows Giggs’s fifth studio album BIG BAD…, which was released last year and saw 18 tracks with collabs alongside the likes of Jadakiss, Labrinth, Theophilus London, Ghetts, Lil Yachty, French Montana, Swizz Beatz, and Wretch 32. That project was a top ten success on the UK Albums chart, Giggs’ third to date. More recently, the artist also known as Hollowman also contributed to other’s efforts, including OG Merks and Brandish, Casanova, Southside, and SAINt JHN.
