This past weekend, Gucci Mane unveiled his new compilation So Icy Gang, Vol. 1, which acted as a formal introduction to new artists like Big Scarr, Foogiano, Pooh Sheisty, K Shiday, and Enchanting. This past weekend, Gucci unveiled a new visual from the project for “Meeting, which sees assistance from Seisty and and Mulatto and features production from J. White Did It, who samples Silk’s classic bedroom-ready cut “Meeting In My Bedroom.” The track centers around the collaborators rockstar lifestyles, even in the midst of a pandemic:

“B***hes wanna f*** with the kid, they fall in love with me, couple weekends doin’ it big, and she’ll be stuck with me, when I was broke and down on my d***, they called me ugly, my exes say, ‘Since Gucci got rich, he actin’ uppity’/

Stop runnin’ from it, baby, stay still, girl, let me punish it, she scared of it, she’s conquered her fear, my chick confronted it, mega mansion, all in the crib, Versace furnished it, no shows in six months and I ain’t stuntin’ it…/”

Shot by Omar The Director, the video shows the artists at a waterfront residence complete with money, jewelry, and plenty of half-naked women at their disposal. It’s clear that this year’s worldwide quarantine hasn’t stopped the 1017 collective from getting to the bag.

So Icy Gang, Vol. 1 boasts 19 tracks with additional assists from Key Glock, Quentin Miller, Tay Keith, and more. Prior to that, Gucci Mane released the project So Icy Summer in July, another star-studded effort that saw the Atlanta hip hop veteran crafting tracks with the likes of Young Thug, Moneybagg Yo, Lil Baby, Future, 21 Savage, and Young Nudy. His last official solo studio album (and his fourteenth) Woptober II was released almost a year ago today.
