“Bout to start taking all this shit,” Jim Jones said.

Styles P and Jim Jones publicly traded shots ahead of The LOX and Dipset Verzuz, but it was all part of their genius marketing strategy. In reality, the two have nothing but love for each other, and only want to see each other well. Recently, for example, after learning that the Harlem emcee was battling COVID-19, the “plant-based” emcee from Yonkers sent him over a package filled with goods that may help him to recover.

On Tuesday (Aug. 17), the El Capo rapper took to Instagram to thank Styles for the gesture. “Good lookin @stylesp for th[e] care pack,” Jim captioned his post. “Bout to start takin all this shit lol.”

Per the video, the package included Irish Sea Moss, probiotics, Soursop Leaf supplements and other products from Styles’ Farmacy For Life aka “hip hop’s first health food store.” “I definitely needed this boost since I was down, but I’m gonna get back in the gym with some of this,” he says in the clip. “You already know what it is, man.”

Nearly two weeks ago, Styles and Jim stood alongside their respective groups and faced off in front of fans watching live at Madison Square Garden or virtually via Triller or Instagram Live. The joyous moment, however, was unfortunately followed by Jim’s bout with COVID-19.

“I was contemplating whether I should do this or keep my business to myself, but I think it’s more important for me to do this,” he said. “I urge everybody to stay safe out there. COVID is real. I was runnin’ ‘round here thinking I was Superman, and COVID knocked the socks off Superman.”

“So, I urge and encourage everybody to please continue to mask up, please continue with hand sanitizer, social distance as much as you can, try to stay away from a lot of packed and crowded places,” Jim added. “This shit is no joke. I really felt it, and I don’t want nobody to feel like how I felt.”
