Social media users were concerned about a Georgia teen after video of her being beaten by her father made its way around the internet.

In the footage, which intially aired on Instagram Live, Trinity was spotted sitting on a chair in a garage as her dad and a woman believed to be her stepmother put her through a form of discipline they called “court.” The teen was questioned, put down and repeatedly struck as punishment for lying and running away.

At one point, the young girl attempted to run away, but her father caught her and threw her to the ground before sitting on her chest to restrain her.

Showing what appeared to be no remorse, Trinity’s father later explained he was disciplining his daughter after she reportedly went to a stranger’s house and smoked weed.

Lil’ Scrappy shared the video after getting word the young girl was safe with her grandmother, but called for parents to come together and find a way to punish her father.

“So they say she is now safe with her grandmother amen, and thank God he is absolutely real…,” he said. “Now where is the parents? Let’s meet up so we all can get our frustrations off jack, that’s still ain’t right.”

His wife Bambi, T.I., Amanda Seales and Trae tha Truth commented under Scrappy’s post either responding to the disturbing video or cosigning his idea.

Talent manager and Waka Flocka’s mother Debra Antney, who also got wind of Scrappy’s post, shared an Instagram post informing social media users that Trinity is safe with her.

“She is safe now,” she wrote. “Thank you @reallilscrappy for helping. She’s safe now! Thank you everyone for the support. She’s in good hands. I got her.”

Trinity was also spotted with Antney as she held a conversation with her friend on Instagram Live.
