Last year, Mooski delivered a massive hit record with his single “Track Star,” a Woodpecker-produced ode to women that get cold feet in a relationship when things get difficult. Much in part thanks to Tik Tok, “Track Star” has since gone viral, creating dance challenges and introducing the Alabama rising star’s music to scores of new fans. Back in March, the melodic cut also became both Mooski’s first entry into the Billboard Hot 100 and Gold-certified record, further raising his overall profile. Add in an accompanying clip starring fellow peer Coi Leray as his love interest, and “Track Star” is arguably guaranteed to be a choice selection on your nearest dance floor post-quarantine.

This week, Mooski unloads a remix of “Track Star” that sees him joined by fellow genre-bending hitmakers Chris Brown, Yung Bleu, and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie — the last of whom previously released his verse to the masses earlier this month. As expected, all parties add to the overall subject matter with their own unique perspectives:

“She’s a liar, she a capper, she’d do anything for the Black Card, she give you her pain with a black heart, should of never let that shit get that far, it’s always been games with you, keepin’ score and changin’ moods, I was all for it, but lately you, showed me that side, that crazy you...”

In addition to “Track Star,” Mooski also liberated another well-received single titled “Game of Love” at the start of the year. Currently, he’s said to be working on a forthcoming body of work titled Melodic Therapy, which — as he expressed in interviews like REVOLT’s “The Breakfast Club” — will sees him diving even further into the struggles that made him into the man he is today.
