Back in January, Saweetie linked up with Doja Cat and blessed fans with a new anthem to hype your bestie with. The “Best Friend” track got even better as Saweetie circled back and tapped Stefflon Don to add a fresh new paint job to the hit for its official remix. She wasn’t donw working the track there, as she now unleashed yet another version of the track, which now features additions from Jess Be and OKENYO. By now, fans know the undeniably catchy hook:

That my best friend, she a real bad bitch. Got her own money, she don’t need no n**/ On the dance floor, she had two, three drinks. Now she twerkin’, she throw it out and come back in.

That’s my best friend, she a real bad bitch. Drive her own car, she don’t need no lift/ In the strip club, know my girl gon’ tip. Now she twerkin’, she throw it out and come back in/ Beep beep, is that my bestie in a Tessie? Fresh blow out, skin on tan, ooh, she ready.

Saweetie recently got the party officially started when she dropped the first volume of her Pretty Summer Playlist last week. Prior to Saweetie’s “Best Friend” single was her Jhene Aiko-assisted single “Back To The Streets.” 2020 also saw Saweetie deliver dope cuts like “Money Mouf” with Tyga and YG, “Bussin 2.0” with Tay Money, and “Tap In,” the last of which as since climbed to the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100. “Tap In” later on caught a big remix that featured Post Malone, DaBaby, and Jack Harlow. Pretty Bitch Music features some all-star-level production from names like Timbaland, Danja, Lil John, Murda Beatz and will follow her 2019 EP ICY.
