Back in August, Lyrical Anderson unveiled her third studio album Bad Hair Day, which saw 12 soulful new cuts from the L.A. songstress. Today, REVOLT is excited to premiere a new visual from that project for the album standouts “Notice Me,” produced by Tariq Beats and A1, and the 88 Fingerz and Allison Whild-produced “Brain.”

Anderson explained the creation of the self-directed clip in an exclusive quote, revealing that the plot is mainly centered around “Notice Me” and its subject matter:

“I feel at one point or another every person can relate to feeling unappreciated and pushed away by the person that they love the most when in reality, some don’t realize that one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. You can easily be gone and find your happiness elsewhere. That is the message I wanted to capture. This is the first video that I directed and I’m extremely grateful to partner with RIV Music to bring my vision to life.”

“Notice Me/Brain” follows previously released videos for “Marriott,” “Act A Fool,” “Plot Twist,” and “Girls Have Fun.” Fans also received a Bad Hair Day mini-documentary that took them through Anderson’s experiences surrounding the album in better detail — one heartfelt moment sees her on the phone with Rihanna, shortly after giving birth to son Ocean Zion Bentley.

Bad Hair Day follows Anderson’s equally dope LPs Hello and Adia, which made landfall in 2015 and 2017, respectively. She also liberated notable projects like Nasha Pearl, Strength, and her King Me series, collaborating with the likes of Timbaland, French Montana, and Sevyn Streeter, among many others. In addition to her work, the “Love & Hip-Hop” alum has penned many of your favorite hits by others, including Chris Brown, Omarion, Beyoncé, Ty Dolla $ign, Jennifer Hudson, Tinashe, Demi Lovato, Mýa, and loads more.
