It’s been a couple of years since 24kGoldn released the eight track offering DROPPED OUTTA COLLEGE, which saw a single assist from Fetty Wap. Since then, the San Francisco talent has continued to ascend to the top of hip hop’s current generation, thanks to infectious singles like “Unbelievable” with Kaash Page, “Water Run Dry” with Chelsea Collins, and “Mood,” an iann dior assisted track that has since become one of the biggest singles of 2020, topping charts across the globe and earning the artists a wealth of Gold and Platinum plaques. Add in his inclusion into XXL’s Freshman class, and it was clear that 24kGoldn’s career is as bright as can be.

Today, 24kGoldn takes things to the next level with his debut LP El Dorado, which boasts 13 tracks and — in addition to the aforementioned dior — additional features from Swae Lee, DaBaby, and Future. Accompanying the new album is a video game of the same name, a side-scrolling adventure that gives players a chance to when actual money and cryptocurrency. Goldn spoke on the game via social media:

“when i told y’all i was building my own world I WASNT PLAYIN! finish El Dorado: The Game and collect the most coins to win some treasure . gonna give away cash and bitcoin to the highest scoring player next week, may the best stan win”

Adding to his many promotional appearances, today also saw Goldn perform the track “3, 2, 1” on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” Produced by Rio Leyva, Blake Slatkin, Omer Fedi, KC Supreme, and Nick Mira, the song sees Goldn speaking to his significant other about loyalty and faithfulness:

“You know what they say, every dog has his day, every bitch wanna play with me, you should be ashamed, ‘cause I would feel the same if I did what you did to me/”
