Slimelife is currently on the road partaking in the “Back Outside Tour” as an opening act for Lil Baby and Lil Durk, but he found the time to unleash his Better Living project today (Oct. 13). To add some special touches to the project, Slime connected with Future, Jackboy, Nardo Wick, and more across 16 tracks. Preceding the project’s full release was the reveal of the Lil Durk-assisted single “Suit Me Up,” which shows off both of their signature melodic flows:

Thirty clip with a stichin’ just to shoot it up, it been a minute that they bother me/ Lil dawg got life sentence off a robbery, how the hell I’m winnin’ and they bother me, mama I’m sorry but the streets took a part of me

I went from honor roll to a gangster, I took my own road ‘cause I’m a gangster/ No I don’t own a hoe ‘cause I’m a gangster/ See you caught feelings I bought the feelings

“Suit Me Up” is a follow up to Slimelife’s emotional “Where’s The Love,” the determined ”Still At It,” the powerful ”Slatt Bizness,” and “Baby Boy,” which has over 2.1 million YouTube views since its release in May. Earlier this year, Slimelife shared the 42 Dugg-featuring remix to ”Don’t Worry (Clappers),” his biggest hit to date with over 15 million streams across platforms. Last year, the Alamo Records signee released No Slime Left Behind, a full-length project, and made noise with his street hit ”All Summer.”

Lil Durk has also had an active year as he joined forces with Lil Baby for their joint album The Voice of the Heroes a few months ago, which was an 18-track body of work that sees additional appearances from Meek Mill, Travis Scott, Young Thug, and Rod Wave. Following the album’s release, the Chicago-to-Atlanta connection reveal a new visual for “How It Feels.”
