M1llionz takes us to Nairobi for “Lagga” visual

The Birmingham star drops off one of the biggest UK drill cuts this year.

In only about a year’s time, M1llionz has positioned himself as one of the biggest UK drill artists with undeniable hits like “B1llionz,” “BX19,” “Y PREE,” and his official debut “North West.” Now, he returns with “Lagga,” which sees production from Rico Run That, I/O, and TobiShyBoy. The track keeps with M1llionz previous efforts, providing the listeners with vivid details of the artist’s life prior and during his increasing successes:

“In this corona pandemic, I’m in mask and the feds can’t tell me to take it off, if a yout try come on the field, man know how to slide, them man just send him off/

My man just score a free kick but me and double H came back with the leveller, where I’m from, I get love, I get hate, in my city, I’m bait, I can’t go to the reservoir.../”

The cinematic visual comes courtesy of Teeeezy C and takes us to Nairobi, Kenya, where M1llionz is seen mobbing deep with the locals there. Filled with aggression and energy, this clip definitely sends a message and makes for one of the more powerful visuals both in and outside of the drill genre this year.

Still short of a full body of work, the anticipation for an official EP, mixtape, or album from M1llionz is pretty high. In addition to the aforementioned singles, he’s also shown even more of his lyrical ability by freestyling for Kenny Allstar’s “Mad About Bars” series. He’s also collaborated with others in such a short timespan, jumping on “Year Of The Real” with Meekz, Teeway, and Pa Salieu, as well as “Ride & Clutch, Pt. 2” alongside Tana, Unknown T, Aitch, and JB Scofield.

Press play on “Lagga” below. Given the output and momentum, it’s hopeful that we’ll be seeing even more from M1llionz before year’s end.
