This past Friday, Maryland star IDK delivered IDK & FRIENDS 2, the sequel to its 2018 predecessor that also functions as the official soundtrack for Kevin Durant’s Basketball County: In the Water documentary. This week, fans can check out two new visuals from the project for “Riley,” which features fellow DMV native Xanman, and the PnB Rock-assisted “End Of Discussion.”

Both clips are fairly abstract by comparison. Following what may or may not be an ad for Monster energy drinks, “Riley” shows a group of friends — including Los Angeles Laker and Maryland-born and raised athlete Quinn Cook — are seen playing variations of backyard basketball, which no appearances from either collaborator. On the flip side, “End Of Discussion” functions as a lyric video, with IDK and PnB Rock sitting on a porch staring at the screen while two women twerk behind them, leaving the viewer to focus in on the aggressive lyrics and subject matter:

“What’s up, lil’ b***h? I’m tryna blow this cash, pull up in that, skrrt, you know that’s a Jag’/

Look at these n***as, they so mad, ’cause they f***in’ broke and they pockets sad/

I’m that n***a, I’m they dad, huh, I’m that n***a, I could brag, I spent thirty-five hunnid on some f***in’ Act’, leanin’ in the foreign, hope that I don’t crash/

’Cause it’s two hundred on the f***in’ dash, lately, I been livin’ life too f***in’ fast, I’ve been gettin’ money with my f***in’ gang…/”

Prior to the IDK & FRIENDS 2, last year saw IDK deliver his debut studio LP Is He Real, which saw 14 tracks and additional appearances from DMX, Pusha T, JID, Tyler, the Creator, Burna Boy, GLC, and more. The project also boasted the well-received singles “Digital” and “24.”
