Last week, Rich The Kid blessed the masses with his latest album Boss Man, which boasts 19 new tracks and appearances from DaBaby, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Nicki Minaj, Lil Baby, Quavo, and more. After releasing visuals for “That’s Tuff,” “Money Talk,” and “Far From You,” the Atlanta-based artist returns with a new music video for “Red,” which — as you might’ve guessed — is showered in the bright color throughout. The Daps-directed clip also stars model Kennedy Symone, Rich Forever artist Famous Dex and — presumably as a promotional tool — vaporizer brand Kandypens.

The track matches Rich The Kid’s affinity for the multifaceted color choice, as he makes clear on the Beat By Jeff-produced cut:

“Pour up the red, I’m on the meds, her Birkin is red, middle finger to the fed/

B***h, I was broke, then I got rich, did it in real life/

Got a red b***h, let her count a fifty at the red light/

She a good girl, but she bad as f***/

Beep-beep, when she backin’ up, get a bag when she actin’ up/

Lamborghini got the red guts/ …red cup, she got Henny, I got red stuff/

First class on redeye, she pullin’ up…/”

In related news, Rich The Kid recently sat down with DJ Vlad to discuss Kendrick Lamar, his wealth, his Rich Forever imprint, the GRAMMYs, and more. He also spoke on his group, the Durham, North Carolina collective 83 Babies, and their current legal situation stemming from the death of nine-year-old Z’Yon Person and member Lil Tony’s subsequent arrest:

“I know them well… But you never know what could happen. That’s an ongoing case so I don’t really want to talk about it.”
