By now, it’s pretty well-known that Kehlani and YG’s relationship has become strained, to say the least. On Valentine’s Day, the duo released a new single titled “Konclusions,” which seemed to confirm that the west coast couple had reconciled following his alleged infidelity. Only a few days later, Kehlani dropped “Valentine’s Day (Shameful),” which alluded to a complete breakdown in that union. Now, the singer reveals a new single titled “Toxic,” which sees her seemingly admitting that she can sometimes be noxious with her significant other as well:

“Did right, we take turns being wrong/

I get real accountable when I’m alone/

I get real about it all when I’m alone/

It’s so crazy missin’ you when I get on.../”

The track sees production from KBeaZy and G. Ry, and — as with the aforementioned releases this year — will presumably appear on Kehlani’s official follow-up to 2017’s SweetSexySavage.

In related news, Kehlani will also be joining Justin Bieber in support of his “Changes Tour,” which will also see support provided by Jaden Smith. In the hopes that it’s not heavily affected by the world’s current issues at hand, the tour is set to kick off this May, running all over North America until September.
