Megan Thee Stallion is currently on a roll. Despite legal issues, the Houston emcee was able to release her latest project Suga to the masses, keeping this year’s hot girl summer on schedule.

Earlier this week, she decided to develop a dance challenge for her latest single from the project “Captain Hook,” which quickly went viral on social media. Now, Thee Stallion unleashes the official video for the track to the world, a self-directed effort that sees her taking a studio session into wild and crazy territory. Throughout the quick-moving clip, Megan can be seeing writing, recording, drinking, twerking, dancing with topless, dice-throwing men and more — an awesome debauchery fest in action. It’s all a perfect match for the LilJuMadeDaBeat-produced party on wax, and Megan is rapping as hard as ever:

“Hot Girl Summer, I ain’t f***ing with no drama/

He was tripping, so I hung out with his partner/

F*** him good, introduce me to his mama/

Thought he had me ‘til I came out with the condom/

Drinking D’ussé out the motherf***in’ bottle/

I’m a rapper, not no motherf***in’ model, huh…/”

It’s still a shock to many that Megan Thee Stallion’s new EP almost never saw the light of day, thanks to her ongoing battle with her label 1501 Certified. Speaking to Hot 97, she explained that she only wanted want she felt was equitable:

“I mean my issue is not with money, I just want what’s fair… I want the proper agreement. I don’t want to be treated like an object, I don’t want to be treated like a slave. I want to be treated as a human being and… What’s right is right and what’s fair is fair.”

As we all wait for the final outcome, fans can turn up with Megan by pressing play on “Captain Hook” below.
