Today, Megan Thee Stallion released her latest project, Suga, despite a now-ongoing legal battle with her label 1501 Certified. She also explained more of what’s going on during a recent visit to Hot 97:

“If you know me you know I don’t like going back and forth, I don’t like a lot of confrontation… You really gotta push me to upset me, or for me to even address something. So I feel like, you know, it was just time to say something … my issue is not with money, I just want what’s fair. I want the proper agreement. I don’t want to be treated like an object, I don’t want to be treated like a slave.”

Added to the nine-track EP comes a new visual for the lead single “B.I.T.C.H.,” which sees Megan’s Tina Snow persona giving game to her new alter-ego Suga. We can then see shots of her riding in a Roll-Royce, walking her dogs in a skin tight leopard suit and twerking in a jacuzzi — all perfect matches for the song’s aggressive lyrics:

“Why you wanna play with me? You know I’m undefeated/

A real hot girl know how to keep a n***a heated/

You say you want respect, well, treat me how you wanna be treated/

You told me keep it real, but you don’t practice what you preachin’/

You want me to blow your phone up and come a-lookin’ for you ‘til I find ya/

You really want me to whoop the ho that you f***in’ with if I find her…/”

Previously, Megan released her mixtape Fever, which debuted in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart and boasted singles like “Realer,” “Sex Talk” and the DaBaby-assisted “Cash S***.” Prior to that, her Tina Snow mixtape contained her biggest single to date, “Big Ol’ Freak.”
